Living Tantra Institute (“we,” “us”) offers courses, teacher certification programs, retreats, immersions, and related content and services (together, the “Services”). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information you provide. When you enroll in a course, register for a retreat, subscribe to our newsletter, purchase a service, or contact us, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, and payment information. Payments are processed by third-party payment processors; we do not store your full card details.

Program information. Some of our offerings invite you to share personal reflections, health considerations relevant to physical practice, dietary needs for in-person events, or biographical information (for example, in application forms or portrait interviews). We collect this only when you choose to share it, and we treat it with care.

Session recordings. Live online classes and some in-person sessions may be recorded for participants and for teaching archives. You will be informed when recording occurs.

Automatic information. Like most websites, we collect standard technical data through cookies and analytics tools — such as browser type, pages visited, and general location — to understand how our site is used and to improve it.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to deliver the Services you request, process payments and registrations, communicate with you about your enrollment, send newsletters and offerings you have opted into, maintain certification records, and improve our programs and website. We may also use information as needed to comply with law or protect our legal rights.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate (payment processors, email platforms, course hosting platforms, scheduling tools), with co-facilitators or venues as needed to run a program you have registered for, or where required by law. Personal reflections and sensitive material shared within programs are held in confidence and are not shared outside the teaching context without your consent.

If you subscribe to our mailing list or enroll in a program, we may send you news and offerings. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.

Your Choices and Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at the address below. Depending on where you live (including the EU/EEA, UK, and certain U.S. states), you may have additional rights under applicable privacy law, and we will honor valid requests accordingly.

Data Retention and Security

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, including maintaining certification and enrollment records, and we use reasonable safeguards to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

Our Services are intended for adults 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

International Transfers

We operate internationally, and your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate.
